We will volunteer from 8:30-10:30 at the food bank.by making food boxes and packing them. We will meet at Carmenita Middle School at 8 am to carpool and return by 11 am.

For the new scouts, this is a fun and easy service project which counts toward your second class requirement to participate in an approved service project of at least one hour. In case you were not aware, you can work on your Tenderfoot, Second Class and First Class requirements at the same time. So come out in the morning to serve and then meet with Mr. Cho in the afternoon to make it a Trail to First Class day.

They are holding 20 spots for the troop for this time slot but due to high demand, we need to let them know as soon as possible if we do not need all 20. Please respond back to this e-mail as soon as possible if you are interested and I will hold the spot for you, first come, first served. I also need 2-3 additional drivers depending on the type of vehicle. The food bank is located in Garden Grove so it is a very short drive.
