We have an opportunity to participate in the actual preparation and serving of a lunch meal at the local community center.

“Citizenship” is an important aspect of scouting. Scouts need to take an active role in citizenship by “giving back” to the community through service projects. We can all adhere to our “do a good turn daily” slogan by volunteering for a few hours on a Saturday morning.

Note: There is a Training Bike Rides - 2009 scheduled on 4/18. For those scouts who signed up for the bike ride and want to participate, e-mail the coordinator (prior to the next meeting) and they will put your name down for 4/11 before making the announcement to the troop.
