Close previewYet another successful backpacking trip.
Each time I come back from these Troop 693 trips, I am so thankful to the wonderful parents of the Troop, who spend countless number of hours planning every minute detail for the trip, to make this a wonderful outing for the scouts. Thank you Yi Chu and Grace for all your meticulous planning, finding a great campsite, campfire and making multiple trips before the outing to the site to ensuring everyone safety. Victor Hsiang for guiding and helping us all. Thank Dennis for working with the boys in completing the orienteering course. Thanks to all the other adults for the yummy food and great experiences which we will remember for a long time.
Above all thanks to Benjamin for pitching in at the last minute to be the SPL for the trip and Mitchell for being the ASPL. Thanks to all the PL for working with new scouts.
This trip was specially wonderful because as we had so many first timers, our fresh batch of new scouts and parents. I am very proud of each one of you to make this trip, specially the second day. Hope you all had a great time and will find backpacking a rewarding experience. This is the best way to enjoy the nature in its true form.
